Abandoned Form Recovery

Many visitors start a form and leave before sending it. FormGlut Pro can keep those unfinished answers and email the visitor a link to finish.

Turn it on

1. Open the form’s Settings › Entries & analytics.
2. Turn on Keep unfinished answers. Once a visitor types a valid email address, their answers are kept even if they leave.
3. Set the Notice under the form, e.g. We save your answers as you type so you can finish later. Mention this in your privacy policy too.
4. Optional: turn on Send a reminder email with a link to finish, then set:
   • Send the reminder after (minutes)
   • Reminder subject, e.g. You didn’t finish “{form_name}”
   • Reminder message. Tags: {form_name}, {site_name}, {resume_link}.
5. Set Keep unfinished answers for (days).
6. Click Save settings.

Files, passwords and card details are never kept.

See unfinished answers

On the Entries screen, open Unfinished in the toolbar. The list shows visitors who typed an email address but did not send the form:

Actions:

• View: see the answers.
• Make entry: save these answers as a normal entry.
• Delete: remove them.

The Reports page also shows unfinished forms by the last step reached.
