Data Retention Rules

Retention rules delete or clean old entries automatically, so you keep personal data only as long as you need it.

The free plugin has one setting per form: Delete entries after (days). Pro adds rules by entry status and a choice of what to remove.

Add rules

1. Open the form’s Settings › Entries & analytics.
2. Under Keep entries for, click Add rule.
3. For each rule, choose:
   • the entry status (Any status or one status, such as Spam or Read),
   • the age in days old,
   • what happens: Delete (with files), or Remove the answers, keep the row.
4. Click Save settings.

Rules are checked daily.

Example:

• Spam entries: Delete (with files) after 7 days.
• Any status: Remove the answers, keep the row after 365 days.

Payments

Payments keep their amount for your accounts, without personal details, when an entry is cleaned or deleted.
