You can change how each field looks without writing CSS. Select a field on the canvas and open the Style Options tab in the left panel.

Label Style

OptionWhat it does
Label PlacementAbove, below, left or right of the field, or hidden.
Label WidthAuto, Small (120px), Medium (160px), Large (200px), Full Width or a custom width. Useful when the label is on the left.

Field Style

OptionWhat it does
Field WidthHalf (50%), Three Quarter (75%) or Full Width (100%).
Input Padding (px)Space between the text and the border.
Input Margin (px)Space around the field.
Border Radius (px)Rounded corners.

Colors

Set the background, border and text colour of the input. Click Reset next to a colour to go back to the default.

Submit button

Click the Submit button on the canvas, then use:

  • Button Settings: text, text while sending, size and alignment.
  • Button Styling: background colour, text colour, border radius, font size, font weight and height.

Form width and alignment

The width and alignment of the whole form are set in the form’s Settings › Layout & CSS:

  • Form width: for example 640px, 100% or 40rem.
  • Form alignment: left, center or right.

Custom CSS

For anything else, add CSS in Settings › Layout & CSS › Custom CSS. Use {form} to target only this form:

{form} .formglut-label { color: #1e3a8a; }
{form} .formglut-input { border-width: 2px; }

You can also add your own class to the form (Settings › General › Form CSS class) or to a single field (Field Options › Element Class and Container Class) and style it in your theme.

FormGlut Pro adds a full Design tab with colour presets, fonts, shadows, button styles and dark mode.
