FormGlut can copy your forms, and optionally their entries, from other form plugins. Your old plugin and its data are not changed.

Supported plugins

WPForms, Fluent Forms, Ninja Forms, Forminator, MetForm, SureForms, Formidable, Form Maker, Gutena Forms and Contact Form 7.

The other plugin must be installed and active so FormGlut can read its forms.

Import forms

  1. Go to FormGlut › Data & Logs › Migration, or on All Forms click Import › From another form plugin….
  2. FormGlut lists the forms it found. Tick the ones to import, or Select all.
  3. Turn on Also copy entries to copy the submissions too, with their original dates and statuses. Leave it off to import only the forms.
  4. Click Import.
  5. When each form is done, click Open in editor to check it.

What is copied

  • Each form’s fields, labels, choices, layout and submit button, into a new FormGlut form.
  • Entries, when Also copy entries is on.

Imported forms start as Drafts, so nothing changes on your site until you are ready.

What is not copied

  • Per-form email and notification settings. Set them again in each form’s Settings › Notifications.
  • Fields that have no matching FormGlut field. They are listed under Not imported (no matching FormGlut field).

After importing

  1. Check each form in the editor and set up its notifications and confirmation.
  2. Set the form to Active.
  3. Replace the old plugin’s shortcode or block on your pages with the FormGlut one.
  4. When everything works, you can deactivate the old plugin.

If copying entries fails for a form, the form is still imported. Click Copy entries to try again.
