Send different emails, and show different confirmations, depending on the answers.

More notifications

In the form’s Settings › Notifications, under More notifications:

  1. Click Add notification.
  2. Give it a Name, e.g. Sales team.
  3. Fill in Send to, From name, From email, Reply-To (an email address or an Email field ID), Subject and Message. An empty message sends a table of all answers.
  4. Turn on Attach uploaded files if needed.
  5. Under Send only when, add rules so the email goes only for some answers. Leave it empty to always send.
  6. Click Save settings.

Smart tags work in every box, e.g. {form_name}, {field:FIELD_ID} and {all_fields}. A field ID in a recipient box sends to that field’s answer.

Example: a contact form with a Department dropdown. Add one notification per department, each with Send only when Department is Sales / Support / Billing.

The main admin notification and the visitor confirmation still work as before. Turn the main one off if you only want the extra emails.

Conditional confirmations

In the form’s Settings › Confirmation, under Conditional confirmations:

  1. Click Add confirmation and give it a Name.
  2. Choose what to Show: A message, Redirect to a page or Redirect to a URL.
  3. Fill in the message, page or URL. In URLs, smart tags are added URL-encoded, e.g. ?name={field:name}.
  4. Under Use when, add the rules.

Confirmations are checked in order. The first one whose rules match is used instead of the normal confirmation. If none match, the normal confirmation is shown.

Example: a quote form that sends visitors with a budget over 10,000 to a Book a call page, and everyone else to a thank-you message.

Re-sending

When a form has extra notifications, the entry screen shows a Send notification button. Pick one of the extra notifications to send it again for that entry.
