There are four ways to show a form: the shortcode, the FormGlut block, the Elementor widget, and the form’s own share page.

The form must be Active to show on your site. Draft forms show nothing, and closed forms show a message instead of the fields.

Shortcode

Every form has a shortcode with its ID:

[formglut id="3"]

To copy it:

  • On All Forms, click the shortcode in the form’s row, or
  • In the form editor, click Shortcode in the header.

Paste it into a page, a post, a Shortcode block, a text widget, or the shortcode element of any page builder.

FormGlut block

  1. Edit a page or post in the block editor.
  2. Click + and search for FormGlut.
  3. Add the block and choose your form from the list.

The block supports alignment and an extra CSS class, like other blocks.

Elementor widget

  1. Edit the page with Elementor.
  2. Search the widgets panel for FormGlut.
  3. Drag the widget onto the page and choose the form.

Share page

FormGlut can give a form its own clean page, with only the form on it. This is useful for links in emails or social posts. See Share Page and Gated Content.

Performance

FormGlut loads its scripts and styles only on pages that contain a form, so other pages stay as fast as before.

Themes and page builders

FormGlut works with block themes and classic themes. The form keeps its own look, and the editor canvas uses the same markup and stylesheet as the published form, so what you see in the editor is what visitors see.
