Share Page and Gated Content
The Share & gate tab in a form’s settings has two features: a share page with only the form on it, and gated content that stays hidden until the visitor submits the form.
Share page
A share page is a clean page with only your form. Use it for links in emails, social posts or QR codes, without creating a WordPress page.
- Open the form’s Settings › Share & gate.
- Turn on Turn on the share page.
- Optional: add Text under the title.
- Click Save settings.
- Use Copy next to Link to copy the address, or Open to see the page.
Share pages are hidden from search engines.
Gated content
Gated content hides part of a page, such as a download link, a video or an article, until the visitor submits a form.
- Open the form’s Settings › Share & gate and copy the shortcode under Gated content. It looks like this:
[formglut_gate form="3" days="30"]Your hidden content[/formglut_gate]
- Paste it into a page or post, using a Shortcode block or the classic editor.
- Replace Your hidden content with the content you want to hide.
Visitors see the form first. After they submit it, the page reloads and shows the hidden content.
Shortcode options
| Option | What it does |
|---|---|
form | The form ID (id works too). |
days | How many days the content stays unlocked on that browser, from 1 to 365. Default: 30. |
message | Text shown above the form. Default: Fill in the form to see the content. |
The unlock is remembered per browser. A visitor on another device must submit the form again.
