Each form has its own settings: what happens after submit, who gets emails, who may submit, spam checks, integrations and more.

Open a form’s settings

  • In the form editor, click Settings in the header, or
  • On All Forms, click Settings in the form’s row.

The settings are split into tabs on the left. Change what you need, then click Save settings. If you leave with unsaved changes, your browser asks you to confirm.

General

SettingWhat it does
Show form titlePrints the form title above the fields.
Form CSS classExtra class(es) added to the form wrapper, e.g. my-form.

Layout & CSS

SettingWhat it does
Form widthFor example 640px, 100% or 40rem. Empty uses the default.
Form alignmentLeft, Center or Right.
JavaScript after submitRuns in the browser after a successful submission, for example to track a conversion. event.detail.entryId holds the entry ID. Only administrators who may add scripts can save this.
Custom CSSCSS for this form. Use {form} for the form’s wrapper, e.g. {form} .formglut-label { color: red; }.

Entries & analytics

Count form views counts how many times the form is shown, so All Forms can show views and the conversion rate. Views are counted by the visitor’s browser, so pages served from a cache are counted correctly.

Defaults from Global Settings

Many settings fall back to FormGlut › Global Settings when you leave them empty, for example the notification address, sender, subject, and success and error messages. Set them once there and change them per form only when needed.
