Reports and Analytics
The Reports page shows how your forms perform: views, starts, entries, conversion, traffic sources, devices and where visitors give up.
Turn on tracking for a form
In the form’s Settings › Entries & analytics:
| Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
| Count views, starts and steps for Reports | Records views, starts (first interaction) and steps reached. |
| Save traffic source and device with each entry | Referring site, UTM tags and device type. |
| Save the pages visited before submitting | The visitor’s path through your site. Needs Record pages visited in Global Settings › Reports. Mention it in your privacy policy. |
| Send events to Google Analytics / Tag Manager | Sends formglut_view, formglut_start and formglut_submit to dataLayer and gtag, when your site already loads them. |
The Reports page
Open Reports from the FormGlut menu button (three lines), or the Reports tab in the form editor.
- All forms: a table of every form with Views, Entries and Conversion.
- One form: totals for Views, Starts, Entries, Conversion and Start rate, plus:
- a chart of views, starts and entries per day,
- Traffic sources,
- Devices,
- Steps reached on multi-step forms,
- Unfinished, by last step,
- a link to the answer charts (Results).
The Visit panel
When traffic sources are saved, each entry has a Visit panel with the Source, Referrer, Landing page, Device and, if turned on, the pages visited.
