Save Progress

Save progress keeps a visitor’s answers in their own browser while they type. If they leave and come back later, the form is filled in again, so long forms are not lost.

Turn it on

1. Open the form’s Settings › Save progress.
2. Turn on Remember answers on the visitor’s device.
3. Optional: change the Welcome-back message, for example Welcome back! We filled in the answers you saved on this device.
4. Click Save settings.

When a visitor returns, they see the welcome-back message and a Start over link to clear the saved answers.

How it works

• Answers are kept only in the visitor’s browser, for up to 30 days. Nothing is sent to your site until the form is submitted.
• Saved answers are cleared after a successful submit.
• Passwords, files, card details and signatures are never kept.
• Saved answers only come back on the same device and browser.
