Global Settings
FormGlut › Global Settings holds the options that apply to every form. Each form can override many of them in its own Form Settings. Click Save settings after making changes.
General
| Setting | What it does |

| Default form status | The status a new form gets: Active, Draft or Closed. Only Active forms show on the site. |
| Store form submissions | Saves every submission in Entries. A form can override this. |
Email notifications
| Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
| Admin notification email | Receives every submission. Separate several addresses with commas. Empty uses the WordPress admin email. |
| Sender name | The “From” name. Empty uses the site title. |
| Sender email | The “From” address. Use an address on your own domain. Empty lets WordPress choose. |
| Email subject template | Smart tags work here, e.g. {form_name}, {entry_id} or {field:FIELD_ID}. |
Messages
| Setting | What it does |

| Error message | Shown when a submission cannot be saved or a captcha check fails. |
Spam protection
Enable honeypot adds a hidden field that bots fill in. Those submissions are dropped quietly. See Spam Protection and Privacy.
Captcha
Create keys in each provider’s dashboard and paste them here:
- Google reCAPTCHA: Version (v3 invisible or v2 checkbox), Site key, Secret key, Minimum score (v3) and Protect every form.
- hCaptcha: site key and secret key.
- Cloudflare Turnstile: site key and secret key.
Payments
Stripe: Stripe mode (Test or Live), Stripe currency, and the test and live publishable and secret keys. Find the keys in the Stripe Dashboard under Developers › API keys. See Stripe Payments.
Integrations
Mailchimp: your API key. Create it in Mailchimp under Profile › Extras › API keys › Create A Key, then pick the audience in each form’s settings.
Appearance
| Setting | What it does |

| Form accent color | The color of the forms on your site: submit and step buttons, the glow around a field you click into, checked choices, progress bars and toggles. A submit button with its own color keeps it. |
| Admin accent color | The color of the FormGlut admin screens: buttons, menus, tabs and highlights. |
Click Reset to default under a color to go back to FormGlut’s pink (#e94560).
Advanced
Delete data on uninstall removes all forms, entries, uploaded files, logs and settings when the plugin is deleted (not just deactivated).
This cannot be undone. Export your forms and entries from Data & Logs before deleting the plugin.
