Email Notifications
FormGlut can send two emails for each submission: an admin notification to you or your team, and a confirmation email to the visitor. Set them in the form’s Settings › Notifications.
Admin notification
Turn on Send admin notification, then set:

| Send to | Comma-separated addresses. Empty uses the admin email from Global Settings. |
| CC / BCC | More recipients. |
| From name | Empty uses the sender name from Global Settings. |
| From email | Empty uses the sender email from Global Settings. Use an address on your site’s domain so emails are not marked as spam. |
| Reply-To | Pick an Email field. When you click Reply, the email goes to the address the visitor typed. |
| Subject | For example New entry: {form_name}. Empty uses the subject template from Global Settings. |
| Message | Your own text. Empty sends a table of all fields. Use {all_fields} to place that table inside your text. |
| Attach uploaded files | Attaches files from File Upload fields (up to 20 MB each). Shown only when the form has a File Upload field. |
Smart tags work in most of these boxes. Click Smart tags next to a label to insert one. See Smart Tags.
Confirmation email to the visitor
Turn on Send a confirmation email to the visitor, then set:

| Visitor email field | The Email field that holds the visitor’s address. |
| Subject | For example Thank you for contacting {site_name}. |
| Message | The text of the email. Smart tags work here. |
Resend from an entry
On an entry’s screen, the paper-plane button sends the confirmation email again, to the address on the entry. The small menu next to it sends the admin notification again. See Viewing a Single Entry.
Emails not arriving?
- Go to FormGlut › Data & Logs › Email log and turn on Keep an email log.
- Use Send a test email.
- Submit the form and check the log for the recipient, subject and status.
If emails fail or never arrive, your server is probably not set up to send email. An SMTP plugin usually fixes this.
